Mr Michael Dooley MMs FRCOG Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

Michael Dooley is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He qualified from the University of London and then gained clinical and research experience working in London, Oxford and Southern Ireland. His special interest is in reproductive endocrinology and he has particular expertise in fertility, menopause, pre-menstrual syndrome, endometriosis and pelvic pain, polycystic ovarian syndrome and menstrual problems.

For 8 years Michael was Director of Sports Science and Medicine for the British equestrian federation and travelled to both the Atlanta and Sydney Olympic Games with the British Team. He is currently Medical Director of the Fertility Unit at The Winterbourne Hospital and consults at The Lister Hospital in London.

He is a passionate believer in Integrated Healthcare and has established The Poundbury Clinic in order to develop a women’s integrated healthcare programme. Similar programmes are being established in London. He has co-written a book with Sarah Stacey titled “Your Change, Your Choice: an integrated approach to the menopause”.

Michael has a wife, Barbara, and three teenage children.
